Aleks Syntek

Distinguished Mexican singer, composer and producer, with a career spanning 25 years. He has been nominated 7 times to the Latin Grammys, 5 nominations to the Latin MTV awards, a 2-time winner of the Latin billboard awards, winner of the Ariel prize from the Mexican Academy of Cinematography for the best film music.

Many journalists and critics consider him a genius of Pop music thanks to his having worked as a musical producer when he was just 17 and also for his constant experimental and avant-garde contributions.

SORAYA is without a doubt the most sought-after national artist in recent years. Hits like Dreamer, Feeling You, Con Fuego or her new CD UNIVERSE IN ME, are demanded in the most elite discotheques, the most important parties, by City Halls, private events and major brands. Her show is loved by every audience and her charisma conquers all hearts.

David DeMaría

One of the most respected authors and composers of our musical panorama, with a musical trajectory spanning almost 20 years, 10 albums released and more than a million copies sold.

Manu Tenorio

Manu Tenorio

Manuel Ángel Vergara Tenorio, whose artistic name is Manu Tenorio, is a Spanish singer of melodic music, composer and guitarist.

The 22nd of April 2002 he released his debut album Manu Tenorio. From the start of his solo career, this artist from Seville has made it very clear that besides his talent as a singer, he is also a composer. The CD, which sold over 700,000 copies, received praise from the public and the specialized press.

EN PRIMER PERSONA was his sixth in a 10-year career. Not only are the composing and writing on this CD by Manu Tenorio, but he was also its executive producer.

In 2016 he released the single “Hoy he vuelto a recordar”.

Sole Giménez

She has one of the most recognized and valued voices in the universe of Latin music due to its great quality, its exciting warmth and its unmistakable personality. Author and composer of more than a hundred songs to her credit, she has given thousands of concerts, collaborated with distinguished artists and has a marked international projection supported by the love of her audience in different countries and she enjoys the recognition of the entire profession.

Diego Martín

Another great artist that will accompany us on 26 October in our festival. The frenetic energy that he radiates on stage, his capacity for connecting with the audience from the first note and make it vibrate to the sound of so many popular songs, confirm Diego Martín as one of the singers that are best enjoyed live.

El Langui

Musician, actor, author and lecturer, he started composing rhymes at 13 as a prelude to what later would be his musical career and the embryo of the hip hop group La Excepción, with which he began his musical wanderings in 2000. After 12 years he has 3 CDs released and various prizes such as Best Recording of the Year for his first work “Cata Cheli”, from the critics of Rolling Stone magazine, the PEMOC prize for Group Revelation, the Punta Radio La Rioja prize for Best Group of the Year and a prize for the Best Spanish Group in the MTV Europe Music Awards (2006).

Fuel Fandango

This musical duo is formed by Nita & Ale Acosta. The name of the group fuses the two worlds which unite their music: Fuel, the gasoline of machines, samplers, electronic music, and on the other hand, the Fandango, flamenco music. In their songs they sing in English because of the language’s musicality, but they mix in Spanish, not only because it is part of their roots, but also to make theirs a national as well as an international project.

Rafael Amargo

Rafael Amargo

Jesús Rafael García Hernández, better known as Rafael Amargo (Valderrubio, Granada) is a Spanish dancer and choreographer.

He has deep knowledge of the purest essences of flamenco, but has also simultaneously assimilated other tendencies. His choreographies, sometimes very close to contemporary dance styles, never lose their connection to the essence of flamenco.

Although an admirer of Antonio Gades and a defender of the concept of the dance company, and a theatrical and scenic conception of flamenco, this has not kept him from dancing in tablaos (flamenco nightclubs) or researching the world of contemporary dance.

Rafael Amargo and his productions have been awarded with (among others) four Max Prizes for the Performing Arts, the Leonide Massine Positano Dance Prize as dancer and choreographer, and the APDE Prize. He was also given El Pais de las Tentaciones’ Audience Award for the Best Dance Production for Amargo (2000) and Poeta en Nueva York (2002), which was also chosen as Best Production of the Decade.

Chorus Villa de las Rozas

This choral group is one of the most important cultural institutions of Las Rozas (Madrid). Throughout its thirty-five-year history more than 400 singers have been a part of it, and they have performed in cities such as Paris, London, Lisbon, Rome, Adorra, Lima (Peru) and a good number of the principal Spanish capitals. Mª Ángeles García Serrano has been its music director since February 2002.

Since its foundation, the AMPOS association has dedicated its efforts to supporting musicians and improving their status, their work and legal conditions, etc. For that reason, among other activities, AMPOS has organized concerts which have enlisted the participation of musicians from all of the Spanish orchestras. The enthusiasm all these musicians have shown at every performance reaches the audience and makes each event very special. Since the “TODOS SOMOS MÚSICA” (WE’RE ALL MUSIC) concert, celebrated in Barcelona’s Auditori, the AMPOS orchestra has gone on to perform, in support of our profession, in Madrid, Córdoba, Palma, etc. Now the orchestra is augmenting its area of action by putting its support at the service of other initiatives as praiseworthy as that represented by MADWOMENFEST.
